Graduation

I’ve grown so much through highschool. I’ve learned how important it is to stay true to who you are; your morals and beliefs. I’ve learned how to make friends, how to find the one’s worth keeping, and learning how to keep them. I’ve learned that judging someone is the absolute most ignorant, shallow, and evil-hearted thing someone can do. I’ve learned that it’s okay to get embarrassed, it’s okay to cry, and it’s okay to feel completely and utterly alone. I’ve learned that you can’t make everyone happy. Identifying your priorities is one of the most important things in life. Now that I look back on it, those Saturday nights that I would stay out with my friends and come home late, therefore sleeping in through church, should have been spent with my family. At church, the beach, or even together at home. I’ve learned that every single person in your life will let you down. It will crush you. I keep a cross around my neck to remind me that there is always someone to count on. I’ve learned that reading the Bible isn’t odd. It actually contains every piece of advice for life within it. I’ve learned more life lessons in the experience of highschool than actually being physically in school. I’ve learned what to, and what not to do in the world of alcohol. I’ve seen the damage that drugs and alcohol can do people. I’ve learned that mother nature is a beautiful fucking thing. I’ve learned about different cultures. I’ve visited countries like Grand Bahama where children are put to work as soon as they are tall enough to see over the counter. I’ve learned that you cannot take your life for granted. I’ve seen the loved ones of many of my friends and family slip away in the blink of an eye. I’ve learned that it’s not worth your energy to get mad about life’s battles. Live life day by day. Always remember your words have an effect on someone. And always remember that He is watching you live His plan that he’s known since the very beginning. I’ve learned that graduating highschool is not merely a ceremony but a huge stepping stone in life. :)
